No, Merit America selects academic programs from third-party providers and connects learners to those programs. While some programs may include certificates, it’s important to note that these certificates are awarded by the respective third-party providers. For instance, the IT Support program certificate is awarded by Google.
Merit America is a career development nonprofit that provides a path to skilled careers for adults. We combine flexible, part-time training for in-demand careers with best-in-class career coaching and peer support, to build a new pathway to the middle class for hundreds of thousands of Americans stuck in low-wage work.
Merit America has already helped more than three thousand adults advance their careers, and we are on track to serve 100,000 Americans and generate $1 billion in wage gains within ten years.
