Alejandro Amaya

Alejandro is a Miami, FL native who is the son of immigrants from Honduras. Alejandro was the first in his family to graduate both from High School and College, and has a deep understanding of just how important education can provide access to all. He has worked his entire career in higher education in a variety of roles, and the last 11 years specifically in the area of Career Guidance, Professional Development, and ESL Adult Learning principles. He specializes in working with unique populations and relishes helping those who want to better themselves and reach their dreams. This is why he chose to come to Merit America. Alejandro has two younger brothers, hosted a podcast during the pandemic, loves the beach and fancies himself an amatuer bartender.
