Merit America is a national nonprofit workforce-development organization, and a registered 501(c)(3). We create fast, flexible pathways to family-sustaining careers for working adults.

What we provide is career coaching services. The technical coursework and the industry-recognized certificates come from third-party providers like Google and HRCI. Alongside that coursework you get a dedicated career coach, weekly live sessions, and a community of people doing the same thing. Programs are part-time and fully online, built to fit around a job you already have.

To be eligible for a Career Track you need to be:

• 18 or older
• A high school diploma or GED holder. Associate, bachelor’s and master’s degree holders are welcome too
• Living in the U.S. and authorized to work here. Residents of U.S. territories are eligible, and DACA or Temporary Resident status needs to be valid for at least six months after your program starts
• Looking for full-time work when you finish

A technical background is not required, and most learners arrive without one. If your situation is unusual, ask us rather than ruling yourself out. See the full admissions process.

Four steps, and you choose your start date at the very end, once you already know what the program asks of you.

• Apply to a Career Track. IT Support, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, UX Design, Project Management, Human Resources+, Supply Chain Planning, Semiconductor, or Operations+
• Take the initial assessment. Sixteen questions on problem-solving and reading. It measures how you think, not what you already know about tech
• Complete the Merit America Overview. A self-paced look at the coursework, the coaching, and how paying for it works
• Choose your start date. New programs start every two weeks
