Alysia Abrams
Controller
Alysia Abrams is our Controller with over 25 years of accounting experience. Her professional career began as an Assistant Controller, where she spent 8 years at Boult, Cummings, Conners & Berry Law Offices and 6 years at Trane, a division of American Standard. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Finance during her 8-year tenure at Vanderbilt University, where she worked as a Financial Analyst and Accounting Manager. She then accepted the role of Director of Finance & Operations at The Land Trust for Tennessee and was later promoted to Senior Director of Finance & Operations. Five years later, Alysia joined Merit America to continue her passion for non-profit organizations and helping others.
Alysia loves the outdoors and spends as much time as possible planting flowers and building ponds with waterfalls. She also spends time drawing and illustrating art.
