Bridget Johnson

Bridget comes to Merit America from the Quad Cities (an area of (ironically) five cities that literally bridges the Mississippi River between Iowa & Illinois). Her background consists of various sectors of the education world – from community college to for-profit and nonprofit. Prior to joining Merit America, she was the statewide Training Manager for a nonprofit focused on teaching career and college prep classes to grades 7-12. She, then, had a layover working with the State of Iowa to develop new employee onboarding training. Throughout her professional career, she has discovered the importance of giving back through her everyday work and serving the underserved. Joining Merit America feels like a way to deepen the impact of giving back. Additionally, she is excited about the fast-paced and rapidly growing aspect of MA. When not working, you can find her planning Halloween decorations, a trip to somewhere random or creating opportunities to investigate places with hopes of adding to her collection of ghost stories!
