Edgar Ho is Merit America’s Chief Financial Officer, leading our accounting and revenue operations functions. His career is built on a foundation in public policy and strategy consulting, and continued onto financial leadership roles spanning multiple functions, company contexts and geographies. Throughout, his primary focus has been on helping his teams scale successfully, with strategy, purpose and sustainability in mind.
Edgar has held CFO roles in both larger multinational corporations and smaller startup companies. He then moved onto CFO roles with two mid-stage Bay Area startups: Everlane (retail apparel) and Good Eggs (online grocery). Most recently he served as the CFO at Elevate K-12 in the public education / teaching technology space, offering solutions to schools facing the teacher shortage crisis. Prior to moving into finance, Edgar was a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, where he led a major project to create a roadmap for public education excellence in the state of Delaware. He began his career in public service as a Legislative Director in the U.S. House of Representatives.
