Meghan Cressman
Chief Advancement Officer
Meghan is Merit America’s Chief Advancement Officer, leading the organization’s Development, Partnerships, and Communications teams. She is responsible for building Merit America’s philanthropic revenue, cultivating employer partnerships, and shaping the external story that connects it all. She has devoted her entire career to expanding opportunity for kids, youth, and now working people.
Meghan’s past experience includes major and principal gifts fundraising, as well as building and leading high-performing teams in higher education and nonprofit organizations including Teach For America and New Story. She merges time-tested fundraising practices and a passion for innovation to help build a more just and equitable world.
Meghan lives in State College, Pennsylvania with her husband and three adventurous children. You can find her cheering on Penn State athletic teams, trying new recipes, or chauffeuring her kids to their approximately one million activities.
