Don’t just land a job, build a career
Everything you need to know about coaching, support, and what comes after the program.
More importantly, they understand the realities of balancing work, caregiving and finances while navigating a career transition. They are trained to provide the exact guidance, accountability and perspective you need at every stage of your journey. While they focus on your professional development, they partner closely with Technical Advisors to ensure your technical growth is fully supported.
They provide consistent, personalized guidance to help you:
- Develop strategies to overcome imposter syndrome and self-doubt
- Clarify your career direction and next steps
- Build and refine resumes, LinkedIn profiles and application materials
- Prepare for interviews and conversations with employers
- Thoughtfully leverage AI tools to optimize your job search
- Navigate real-world considerations related to age, neurodiversity, gender and finances
Instead of mandatory weekly meetings, you also have the freedom to choose live, topic-based workshops that fit your availability. You decide which sessions to attend based on the exact skills you need most—whether that is writing tailored cover letters, crafting powerful resume bullet points or building your professional network.
If you thrive on structure and momentum, you can opt into our Alumni Career Accelerator (ACA). This optional four-week career sprint provides intensive 1:1 coaching and accountability as you transition into your next career step. If you need more time, up to two additional weeks of support are available.
If you prefer to move at your own pace, you can utilize our on-demand Career Services. As a Merit America alum, you retain lifelong access to targeted coaching support for interview preparation, offer negotiation or future career transitions whenever you need it.
