Jaime Swank

Jaime Swank is a Job Success Specialist, helping learners find jobs that align with their goals. Before joining Merit America, Jaime worked on political campaigns, going door-to-door to persuade voters and managing volunteers nationwide. For the past four years, Jaime supported and mentored training program participants and alumni, coaching them in applying, interviewing, and negotiating offers in politics and non-profits. Jaime developed trainings on job search management skills and pioneered a panel event series of campaign professionals discussing how their careers and identities interact.

Jaime graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a double major in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Korean Language and Culture. Jaime also holds an Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) certification from HRCI.

Currently, Jaime lives in Chicago with a senior cat named Boo. Jaime’s hobbies include yoga, trying out new recipes, exploring the city, and going hard at karaoke.
