Marquita Winfield

Prior to working with Merit America, Marquita worked in the hospitality industry in various roles ranging from housekeeping to support. During this time, she received her Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice and also took some courses in Sociology where she learned more about individuals in underserved communities and how one’s environment can affect their lives. Marquita is excited to join Merit America because she enjoys being a part of the direct efforts to work with underserved individuals in an effort to change their lives and, in turn, the communities they live in. In her free time, Marquita enjoys reading books from many different genres and eating cuisines from as many cultures as possible.
