Tamika Doolin

Tamika is a life-long learner, Program Success Manager and Career Coach at Merit America. She aims to provide a tailored, individual coaching experience to learners, focused on the whole-person, while offering the support, guidance and resources they need to succeed and thrive. She believes in the value and importance of values and strengths alignment as a means of establishing a rewarding and fulfilling career path; and she thrives on helping others build the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to achieve their economic, academic and career mobility goals.
Tamika joins us with a B.S. in Organizational & Industrial Psychology and a M.S. in Human Resources Development from Pittsburg State University, in Pittsburg, KS. She then went on to earn a MSEd. in Family Studies from Concordia University-Wisconsin, in Mequon, WI. For nearly two decades, she has served thousands of traditional and non-traditional learners, career changers, job seekers and community members across a variety of professional settings, including education, ed-tech, non-profit, workforce development, government, service-industry, start-ups and corporate. She has held roles in career services, workforce development, vocational rehabilitation, human resources, recruitment, higher education administration, program management, DE&I and economic support.
In her personal life, Tamika enjoys spending quality time with her family, as well as cooking, working on passion projects, exploring her city’s parks and restaurants and binge watching tiny house tour videos on YouTube. She loves the performing arts, including dance, music and stand-up comedy.
