Bridget Johnson

Bridget joins Merit America with a diverse background in various sectors of education, from community colleges to for-profit and nonprofit entities, with a focus on career pathway navigation. Before joining Merit America, she was a Training Specialist with Iowa Workforce Development, specializing in employee onboarding and training. She also served as the statewide Training Manager for a nationwide nonprofit affiliate in Iowa, focusing on delivering career, college, and life prep skills to students in grades 5-12.
Throughout her career, Bridget has found fulfillment in giving back through her everyday work, particularly in serving underserved persons and communities. Joining Merit America is a natural extension of her commitment to making a positive impact. She is enthusiastic about the organization’s fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
Outside of work, Bridget enjoys creating and planning elaborate Halloween decorations, exploring oddities shops and antique stores or finding new and interesting travel destinations.
