Our Hiring Process

The hiring process and exact stages at Merit America will vary depending on the specific role. The following stages are an illustrative example that provide a general outline of what candidates may encounter in a hiring process. The Talent Acquisition team is committed to providing timely updates to all applicants. Regardless of the outcome, you can expect to hear back promptly.

What happens after you apply?

Initial Interview

Initial interviews are conducted via Zoom or phone call with a Talent Acquisition team member or via asynchronous video, where we learn more about candidates’ experiences, skills, and competencies.

Simulation

Commonly known as take-home assignments, simulations provide a better understanding of the role’s responsibilities and expectations for candidates.

Panel Interview

Panel interviews allow candidates to meet with more potential colleagues at Merit America and are conducted via Zoom.

Final Interview

Candidates will meet with one of our Co-CEOs, offering a unique opportunity to gain insight into the role and its impact on Merit America. Around this time, we’ll also ask for three professional references.
