Aubrey Walsh
Senior Manager, Program and Job Success
Prior to joining the Merit America team, Aubrey worked as an Operations Manager at CommonLit, an education technology nonprofit that provides a free online reading program for over 17 million registered teachers and students. During her time at CommonLit, Aubrey managed a variety of tasks, including all HR processes for the organization, grant writing, fundraising collateral design, and user support, including webinars she hosted that had an average attendance of 300 teachers.
In the evenings, Aubrey would also coach two soccer teams of 12 year-old girls. Growing up as a competitive soccer player, this not only allowed her to reconnect with the sport she loves, but also to be a positive influence on young athletes developing their skills and growth mindsets.
Aubrey’s experience at a mission-driven nonprofit, as well as her time as a youth soccer coach, further strengthened her desire to help others. In recent years, Aubrey has also developed a passion for workforce development, and she’s excited about the role Merit America plays in that field
