Brittany Davis-Green

Brittany serves as the Communications Manager at Merit America. Prior to joining the team,
she served as the director of communications and marketing at Delta State University, where
she developed and successfully executed integrated marketing and communications strategies.

Brittany has nearly a decade of experience serving in progressive leadership roles within the
higher education industry. Earlier in her professional career, she worked as a journalist,
specializing in news and feature writing. Using her passion for storytelling, Brittany has a proven
track record of developing authentic stories that resonate with diverse audiences. Her work has
been lauded by organizations like the Southeast Emmy Awards, the Mississippi Press
Association, and the College Public Relations Association of Mississippi.

A first-generation college student, Brittany is a testament to the transformative power of
education. At Merit America, she is thrilled to be part of an organization dedicated to
expanding those benefits using an innovative and scalable approach.

Brittany earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism/Communications and a master’s degree in
Liberal Studies with concentrations in History and Gender & Diversity Studies from Delta State
University.

A native and life-long resident of the Mississippi Delta, Brittany enjoys using her time and
talents to uplift her community. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, journaling, yoga, music,
good food, and spending quality time with her family.
