Brooke Young

Brooke is a Phoenix, AZ transplant from the greater Seattle, WA area. Her passions are: helping underserved populations to aspire, using data to educate and motivate, and planning community activities.

Brooke comes to Merit America with experience helping large and small HR departments from various industries strategize recruitment marketing practices. She loves using data to motivate change in recruiting and wants to help swing the hiring mindset toward an alignment of skills, culture, and values vs. traditional education and prior experience. She loves coaching learners about their skill alignment and building confidence in securing family-sustaining employment.

In her spare time, Brooke can be found playing pickleball and volleyball with her friends, enjoying board games with her family, attending the soccer, football, and ninja warrior competitions of her three sons, or paddle boarding down Arizona’s Salt River with her husband.
