As someone who began to work at an early age of 15, I quickly realized the value of obtaining skills and experience directly from the workforce. Through each of the industries I have found myself in over my career, the skills and experience as a leader I have gained are universal. Everything from being a Store Manager of 30+ employees at the busiest QuikTrip in Dallas, to managing marketing and events for a sports nutrition start-up, have all managed to provide me an opportunity to utilize my leadership skills in order to provide advancement opportunities to my teams.
