My name is Dana Looper and I’ve been in the Human Services field for 15 years. I have a passion and dedication to providing support to the underserved population. One of my biggest accomplishments in serving the underserved population here in Washington, DC is that I was awarded City Banks top “35 under 35” for my work in the community. I’ve recently on boarded with Merit America as a Program Support Specialist PT. Economic mobility is essential to improving outcomes for underserved people therefore I’m very excited to begin this journey with Merit America. While at Merit my hope is to build relationships, share resources and provide support to continue the very important work that Merit America is doing for unemployed and underemployed individuals.
I am outgoing, dedicated, and open-minded. I always embody a “can do it” attitude no matter how daunting a task or trial may appear. I currently reside in Brandywine, Maryland with my husband and our three boys. When I’m not spending time with my family I enjoy all things self-care from taking walks to watching movies on Netflix.
My overall goal in life is to play a role in strengthening communities by offering my knowledge, experience and service.
