Eric Blair

I spent my first 22 years living, learning and growing in Vermont. After completing my undergraduate coursework, I took time to travel the country, visiting nearly every one of the lower 48 states. In 2009 I was introduced to the idea of helping others through my enrollment in Americorps. I spent a year living on the Mississippi Gulf coast, helping to clean up and rebuild after Hurricane Katrina, which jump started my interest in workforce development and led to 9 more years of work in this field. I love to make connections with people from all walks of life. I enjoy encouraging and supporting people to work towards their goals. Working for Merit is a great opportunity for me to utilize my skills to influence the lives of others.

I currently live in the San Francisco Bay area (North Bay) with my wife. We were married in 2020 and we are expecting the arrival of our first child in May.
