Erin Emiko Flanagan

Erin is passionate about building equitable systems that support the success of all people, and knows a rewarding career is an important foundation for a fulfilling and joyful life. Erin began her career in environmental education, where she led outdoor classes, managed a job training program and helped youth apply for jobs in natural resources and outdoor recreation. Before Merit America, Erin spent time coaching school-based teams to use data and continuous improvement to ensure better outcomes for BIPOC students. Erin is excited to bring this expertise to support and advocate for Merit America learners in their pursuit of high-wage careers.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys paddleboarding, kayaking, baking and learning to play chess. She’s always ready to talk about new recipes, reality tv and her favorite bodies of water in the PNW
