Garland Duhe
Business Development Representative
Garland Duhe has had a diversified career in business development, client services, marketing, and sales. He is a current Business Development Representative at Merit America and has been with Merit since August 2023. Before Merit, Garland worked in Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley for nearly four years. He was instrumental in operations, onboarding, and nurturing client relationships.
Garland also worked at U.S. Bank as a Personal banker. Prior to that, he was at HUB International, as a Marketing Associate, where he honed his cold-calling skills. An early career stint saw him contributing to the Marin City Community Services District, where he supervised an afterschool program tailored for children.
Academically, Garland holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Sacramento State. Outside his professional endeavors, he gives back to the community by coaching basketball, notably raising funds to enable travel for a youth basketball program, aiding underprivileged families in Marin City.
In his spare time, he enjoys working out and spending time with his wife Nikki, and their 18-month-old son Carmelo.
