Khadijah is a dynamic visionary leader who builds high-performing teams to provide comprehensive, customer-centric, revenue-generating solutions and services in the hospitality, food service and non-profit industries. She is known for her resourcefulness, integrity, and an uncompromising commitment to excellence. Accomplished and highly motivated business professional with extensive entrepreneurial experience in the customer service sector.
Prior to joining Merit America, Khadijah served as Director of Hospitality and Services for Chick-fil-A where she led her team to increase sales by 56% making the location a 7 million dollar operation. There, she coached, supported and implemented policies and procedures that yielded positive growth and consistency within the organization.
Khadijah’s extensive background in hospitality and non-profit management also includes her service as Internship Services Account Manager for Year Up where she maintained a 98% retention rate serving a caseload of 53 interns and 10-15 coachees each cycle. Throughout her four-year tenure as a Retail Guest Service Manager for Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot theme parks she oversaw 8-10 million dollar locations increasing receivables by 7% over prior year.
Ms. Sutton has a bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in management and is currently working towards her MSW.
