A guiding policy that Marivia Ursini has set the structure of their life around is always to help when able. Volunteering within their community was a fantastic way to expand on a lifetime of crowdfunding and mutual aid. The pandemic brought a lot of challenges that made it clear that they needed a fresh start in their career goals, and the IT track at Merit was that fresh start.
They were moved by the team’s efforts to help them and their peers meet their goals and knew they wanted to become part of the Merit America efforts. Now working as a Program Support Specialist, they can support the Merit team and their learners and can bring their passion for aiding others into all aspects of their life.
