Robert Johnson Jr.

I am a 2019 graduate from Merit America where I went through the Alpha Java Cohort in Dallas. I was an office clerk prior to making $13/hour and was able to complete Merit America and gain a $30k wage increase by becoming a Cloud Specialist and later a Company Trainer for Systemware Inc. During my time at Systemware, I actively volunteered with Merit America by helping conduct interviews, help facilitate squad meetings with current PSM’s, speak to Merit America’s future partners and even landed my own article in the NY Times speaking on Merit America’s behalf. Found myself always pushing for Merit America’s success, and decided to join Merit America as a PSM due to my love for advancing others, being a graduate and my knowledge in the professional tech space could give insight into what a learner may experience during and post Merit America.
