Romyn Sabatchi

Romyn is a Program Support Specialist at Merit America. Her experience is mainly in higher education and student affairs. She works as the Director of Student Life at Kapi’olani Community College in Honolulu, Hawaii. Romyn was born and raised in San Diego, California (Encanto) and identifies as Filipina (Igorot (an indigenous tribe in the Philippines))/Chinese American. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) from the University of San Francisco (2017) and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of San Diego (2013). She identifies as a first-generation college student who never thought she would even go to grad school and then she did! Romyn enjoys acting, hiking, playing basketball, traveling, and working in the community.
