Sherri Harvin

Sherri Harvin is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina. Sherri is a graduate of Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. There, she received a Bachelor of Arts in English. In 2012, she earned her Master of Science in Leadership & Organizational Change Management from Pfeiffer University. Sherri has over 15 years of work experience in non-profit, working with at-risk youth in personal and professional development, academic achievement and success, and post-secondary guidance. Sherri has served in several roles such as Site Coordinator, HR Manager, Corporate Recruiter, and Assistant Director for Career Services.

Sherri is also an entrepreneur. May 2018, Sherri launched Next Move Resume Writing and Career Coaching, L.L.C. Sherri specializes in career coaching, career planning, and personal/professional development. She is a member and certified Career Practitioner through National Career Development Association. She is also a certified Career Pathways Facilitator/Administrator. In 2020, Sherri completed the Global Career Development Facilitator certification issued by the State of North Carolina Department of Workforce Development. Sherri has facilitated Career Readiness workshops with various organizations across the Charlotte area on Building Your Resume, Job Searching Strategies, Establishing a Professional Presence Online, just to name a few. Sherri enjoys public speaking and connecting people with opportunities for advancement.

Sherri is a member of Zeta Phi Beta, Sorority, Incorporated.

Sherri is a mom of a six-year-old genius, Lynox and soon-to-be wife to Darius Johnson (wedding April 2023). She enjoys spending time with family, reading, coaching, traveling and entertaining friends.
