Teresa Matos

Teresa Matos knows that successful learners become successful workforce professionals. With 38 years of experience working in career readiness, unprecedented work ethic and strong collaboration skills, she is ready to take on a new career pathway as Support Specialist with Merit America. Driven by her passion to guide learners in reaching their best life and workforce goals, she takes pride in the process and journey.

Born and raised in San Diego, Teresa discovered her passion of working with adults in career workforce readiness as a learner in a local vocational program. She went on to obtain her Career Technical Education teaching credential and hired on to teach in same program. Later she become Program Manager, expanded the program, and become a model program in the State of California. Teresa believes respect, relationships, and responsibility are key.
