Upon completing the Google Cybersecurity Certificate, you’ll gain a solid understanding of key cybersecurity practices, including:

• Information Security
• Network Security
• TCP/IP
• Cryptography
• Threat Analysis
• Security Frameworks (NIST CSF, RMF)

You’ll also gain hands-on experience with essential tools and technologies such as Python, Linux, SQL, Splunk, Chronicle, Wireshark, Tcpdump, and Suricata. Explore various security domains like Network Architecture, Threat Detection, Security Audits, Incident Response Playbooks, and Packet Analysis to prepare yourself to protect networks, devices, and data from cyber threats.

In addition to technical training, you’ll work closely with a career coach to refine your professional skills and create a tailored roadmap for success in the cybersecurity field.

Upon completing the program, you’ll be ready for a variety of roles, including but not limited to Junior Security Analyst, Junior Incident Responder, Tier I SOC Analyst, SOC Technician, Junior Network Administrator, Network Support Technician, and Information Security Technician.
